I design outdoor structures for entertaining, and cooking. On sloped lots, retaining walls are often needed to create spaces, with stairs and circulation between spaces. I feel that all walls, and terracing of the outdoor spaces should work well with the topography, with sensitivity, and provide an integrated extension of the home.
